The red wood frame is designed in a form of a synagogue shrine (a case in a synagogue that is used for keeping the Scroll of Torah). The frame is decorated with Judaic symbolism. An original silver filigree setting frames the images of the lady and baby. Two enamel brackets are laid on this silver framework. The initials of the lady’s and baby’s names made of silver are placed in the centre of the brackets. Decorative pigeons made in Russian style of cloisonne with elements of painting are fastened on the base of the frame. |
